Syrian army kills 40 terrorists in Hama , foils an attack in Deir Ezzor

A military source said that the operation ended up with destroying an artillery launcher and inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists in personnel and weaponry.

Hama

A military source said that at least 40 terrorists of the so-called Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement were killed in Hama northern countryside.

The source added that units of the army and armed forces clashed at dawn on Saturday with terrorist groups from al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham while trying to attack military points in the vicinity of Maan town, about 35 km north of Hama city.

According to the source, the clashes ended up with foiling the attack, killing and wounding dozens of terrorists while the rest of terrorists fled towards the southern countryside of Idle.

The precise military operation in Maa’n also resulted in the destruction of an armored vehicle and two heavy machineguns-equipped vehicles.

Deir Ezzor

Meanwhile, army units clashed with ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of al-Tharda mountain and Panorama area to the southern and southwestern parts of Deir Ezzor city, thwarting attack attempts against military positions.

A military source said that many terrorists were killed, others injured and their weapons destroyed during the clashes.
